Meaningful Use and Attestation

The Attestation System for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program will open on April 18, 2011. Please see https://www.cms.gov/EHRIncentivePrograms/Downloads/AttestationSneakPeek.pdf for more information. CMS will provide additional guidance including step-by-step instructions.

For the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, providers will follow a similar process using their state's Attestation System. For Pennsylvania, the anticipated launch date is May 2011. See http://www.pamahealthit.org/ for more information.
