Central planning does not work here any better than it works elsewhere, such as the Soviet Union.

Do not waste your time reading this material.

The Land of the Free is out of money. The combined Social Security and Medicare liability is $93T approximately, and the GDP is $15T approximately. If you have money, you will be treated. If not, not. That is what our laws provide, because neither Medicare or Medicaid provides incentive to treat. Private insurance is another matter, but the government will not meet the market rate.
