Michael A. Cassidy, a shareholder in the firm’s Business and Finance Group and chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, concentrates his practice in health care law, chairs the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, and is a member of the Employee Benefits Practice Group. For more than 25 years, Mike has devoted his practice primarily to the representation of physicians and other individual providers. His practice includes the fundamental business transactions relating to the formation and governance of healthcare entities, including PCs, LLCs, non-profit corporations, partnerships, medical staff and credentialing issues, and integrated delivery systems. Mike has extensive experience in third party reimbursement, managed care contracting, fraud and abuse, corporate compliance, tax exempt organization issues, HIPAA and transaction issues.

Paul Welk focuses his practice in the areas of business and corporate law and healthcare law. In this capacity, Paul represents physical therapists, physicians, dentists, not-for-profit organizations, professional organizations, closely held corporations and other healthcare providers. He regularly advises clients on issues related to mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance matters, contract negotiation, risk management, and other related corporate and healthcare matters.

Adam J. Appleberry drafts and negotiates contracts, represents clients in M&A transactions, and advises on general legal matters. Adam’s healthcare practice focuses on representing physicians, and other providers.
